this is a big fuck you to all their fans that are angry with the fact that atreyu is changing their sound. (i do like atreyus older work much better than their latest. this ablum is much better than lead sails and paper anchors by far but still not as good as their older stuff)...... the opening line says that they have worked hard to get where they are and are proud of it, not a shamed in the least. then he says he doesnt need the aproval of their fans that are upset with their change "i dont need their aproval". "bleeding is a luxury" means making music is a luxury. the chorus can be translated to say that life is menacing. the fans need to relize that bleeding(making music) is a luxury and their going to live and make music the way they want, they earned it, they put their "blood sweat and tears" into their music. "bear a big shit eating-grin" is telling the fans to eat shit if they dont like it. "now bear the burdon to choose your fate" is saying they had to choose and this is what they chose. "grind your teeth till it hurts" when people get angry they grind their teeth and he says that he doesnt care. "seize the day take your beatings lead the way or decay as you fall down" is saying that they will take the shit that people say about them because this is what they want, they dont need any aproval they
