I actually thought this song was an ironic take on fame. If you look at the lyrics from the point of the view that he's taking the piss out of people who are consumed by the idea of being a celebrity, it does make sense. Particularly with lines like:
"Don't need my health
Got my name and got my wealth"
It's a wicked song anyway, whatever it may mean. :)
