I felt like it was about her just being so tired of everything going on, all she wanted was to have somewhere she was happy, someone who would look after her, hold her down from going too far, but at the same time love her and give her freedom. I think she's talking about either, knowing she's going the wrong way in life, but going anyway, "away from everything i used to know.... the way my mother told me not to go" or whether she's trying to pull herself AWAY from there. she's already gone down the wrong road, and is trying to lead herself away from it again. Either way, its one of my favorites on Trouble ♥
