So it's a room full of people with a stage and a cage (cages), presumably with different slaves in each cage and the audience is choosing which slaves they'd like to see in the S&M stage show.

He says he relates to one of the slaves in the cages... "I can hear your soul crying Listen to your spirit sighing I can feel your desperation Emotional deprivation"

And he tells the slave who's being flogged, whipped, caned, whatever... "Let yourself go Let yourself go Let your feelings show"

He sings to the slave released from the cage... "I can taste the tears falling The bitterness inside you calling Yearning for a liberation Emotional emancipation"

And as the slave is being physically whipped, flogged, etc., he says.... "Let yourself go Let yourself go Let your senses overflow"

And as the slave on the stage is bound in bondage and can't escape, he says... "Freedom awaits Open the gates Open your mind Freedom's state "

That freedom is a state of mind, even if the slave is bound in bondage. That the physical restraints of bondage allow for the experience of a higher state of mind of freedom.

It's an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL song for one masochist to sing to another masochist!
