Okay, so I know in the quote below that Jon Foreman isn't talking about this song, but he is talking about "Enough to Let Me Go" from Switchfoot's "Hello Hurricane". Seeing as the two songs have a similar concept of letting go of things you love, I thought this quote could shed some light on the meaning of "My Love Goes Free":
