Low Man

This song seems fairly obvious in it's intended meaning: a man who feels very distant from a certain woman.
My personal interpretation focuses on the line 'how can i be wrong, if the decision's already made' here, he seems to be expressing how they are separated but it wasn't his decision, and now he's a low man.
