This friend has been through a bit of breakups it seems, and these two guys are best friends, but his friend just broke up again, and he's trying to reasure him saying hey it's ok it'll all be ok in the end, we've been through too much together for things to be bad now. Then he tells him it's not fair "lesser guys" win in the end, and that he's nothing like those other guys, he's better. His girlfriend will never know what she had till it's gone. He's basically just comforting his friend who just broke up, and is telling him how it will all be ok in the end, "life's just terms aint easy, just got to take it in stride" :)
