Lyric discussion by MPS186282

Cover art for Gunman lyrics by Them Crooked Vultures

Yes, well, now that we have three damned comments devoted entirely to determining what the actual lyrics are (Servilonus' are correct), can we please move on to what the song actually means?

I love this band, but the meanings of their songs escape me completely, save for No One Loves Me, which I think I am taking entirely too much at face value.

Any thoughts at all?

@MPS186282 It's a concept album about sex workers. Homme is singing from a female sex worker point of view or human trafficked for most of the songs. It's about control/suppression. There are also political tones relating to fascism.
