Cover art for Ted Zancha lyrics by Maps And Atlases

This is a great song and some awesome lyrics. As far as meaning, this is what I take from it: it's about an older man, Ted Zancha, who fought in WWII. He collected photos of celebrities such as Barbara Eden ( I Dream of Jeannie ). Later in life, he dies, leaving behind all these photos, and the song goes on to ask who will remember him after he remembered these stars from yester-year. It also comments on how he now is just like his collected photos, living on in that picture of him from WWII.

"Everyone that you know just lives on in these things just like you are now."

I hear at the chorus

'does anybody remember Ted Zancha? so lonely for fifty years..'

agreed?

no, i agree with what's up there= "he's held onto you for 50 years"
