I usually hate it when someone thinks every song is about "relationship" but I think this song IS about relationship in this case.
To me, I think its talking about all the usual trials that relationships (couples/friends/band,etc), like arguments and fights. And the song is about embracing those things. I think its saying by going through all of those experience, and if relationship can last through them, then even those bad moments can be embraced when you are looking back on it.
