To me this song is about confusion on the way to self (re)discovery. Even the title "Mirror of the Sky" implies this. When he looks to a higher being for answers (i.e. the sky) his question is just reflected back down to him.
For me, the best line by far is

Meaning that if there is an answer at all, you have to feel it rather than just know it.
