I just discovered these guys and they're brilliant. I just created an account to offer something for their page because NO-ONE HAS COMMENTED!
So I was checking out their songs and came across this one and it suits my mood perfectly at the moment.
To me, this song is about that feeling of desperation you get when someone you wish you could be with isn't there with you and hasn't talked to you. You struggle with the pain and loneliness; you feel as if you have a "tortured soul."
In this state, you could do something "reckless." It could be being unfaithful and sleeping with someone else to ease the loneliness (whether that's a percieved unfaithfulness to your heart or to the absent partner), but then again, it could be anything that you regret and that harms you. That's why when I was listening to the song, it reminded me straight away of having urges to self harm.
