Just wanted to point out that Fildais is indeed protector of the woodland and such in Irish mythology. She does not, however, hunt out the miscreants of society, she actually protects them (in most accounts). Many of society's outcasts would seek out her guardianship. Just thought I would clear that up since some people seem to have gotten the reverse impression.
