Girlfriend

I think the song is a bit more carnal and less dramatic than the death of a girlfriend. The word choice is gloomy and sullen, for sure, but I'm convinced this song is about going through a sexual drought, even with your Girlfriend.

"Tired out, not a miracle in days Deciders for the lonely whispering tears You try out for nothing then you drop dead Not a miracle in years Leisure for the lonely Whispering unnecessary unless you're in"

A "Miracle" being with another person in this sense. The lack of such a miracle brings loneliness. "Not a miracle in years" despite "you try out" ("for nothing").

Then there's the line "Farewell, til you know me well." In the biblical sense, to "know" someone is to have had slept with someone. So this line can easily mean: This is goodbye until we sleep together.

But the most telling lines were these:

"We are far from home, I am with you now I'm am longing you, I am longing us two"
