You guys are all overreacting... bands/artists do covers all the time! It's not a new concept nor is it something unique to Flo Rida. Lots of bands/artists do it!! What is the big deal?!
I didn't see anyone bitching when Dope covered You Spin Me Round, and they performed it pretty much exactly like Dead or Alive wrote it, and it was awesome, and I bet you didn't get all pissed about it then... Flo Rida does it in a totally different style, adds his own flair to it, and suddenly it's a travesty... I don't necessarily care for his version of it, but it's not a "rip-off," it's just a COVER.
And in addition, this song only uses the chorus to "Blue" and I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone who is unaware that the chorus is from the Eiffel 65 song... Besides, the rest of the song is completely original writing – again... what is the big deal? It's not even a sample, she actually reperforms it, it's no different from a frickin' cover, and it's even more original then a cover because like 75% of the song is new stuff!
