can't believe no one's commented yet. fucking lovely song. sounds sort of like a drum machine. and the string arrangements? beautiful. i'm not entirely sure these lyrics are correct, though. it sounds to me like, "what i thought was me, was sorrow now."

and hell if i know what it's about. the lyrics are too vague to really pinpoint a meaning. although the title and the implication of sorrow and "chocolate covered sheets" seem to imply some sort of relationship thing. go figure.

THANK YOU! I got it: That line you mention I think is: what I thought was sweet, is sorrow now. Problem with these lyrics are two: 1. There is not one official post about it from AHJ, and it's really hard to get exactly what Albert sings. It's kinda like Julian singing, where sometimes it gets hard to understand by ear. Now, I wonder, if we put these lyrics together as a prose, whould it be correct gramatically speaking? "I know I can't be saved by all." wouldn't it be saved at all? "won't you go and set me down" what's set me down? "moments...
