I'm just going to go out on a limb and say maybe it wasn't cheating, but something more mutual. Since it was probably more publicized than Shannon (?) thought it would be, she freaked out and overreacted, trying to defend herself and made that accusation. I'm not saying it's all her fault, or his for that matter, but that it was probably made to be more than it really is.
