My grade 9 teacher read these lyrics to us in class from an old reading book from the 70's so then my friends and I looked up the song & just fell in love because it summed up our feelings about all the crap around us. I'll never forget that especially since it was the same year that Weeds debuted and I got totally involved with that show mainly because of this one song. Thank you so much Malvina!
