I have heard this song many times, but never really felt like I understood it until recently. A good friend is in trouble, partly by chance and partly by her own choice. I feel like I'm the only one who cares to help her, but that it's just not in my power to do it. I'd love to be able to say a word and make things ok for her, but I'm helpless.
