I think he is saying the future is wide open when you let go of those thoughts and feelings that say nothing has a point, there is no reason for anything, the world is hopeless. He may have felt that way previously and now that he doesn't feel that he is kind of scared of what the future has to bring. I don't understand that part where he says "If you don't (Want to) know how you're going to eat Tomorrow, you can get what you want. You can get what you want If you don't (Want to) know where you're going to sleep Tomorrow, you can get what you want. You can get what you want" so if anyone has any ideas.....
I think he's basically saying that comfort and routine robs you of freedom in a sense. When we lose that comfort and routine we get a bit fearful of the freedom since it's so uncertain.
