because it say repeatly "would I lie to you" and the I would die for you at tge beginning is meaning why would I lie to you if I was willing to due for you? But tge I would die for you becomes less if a certanty to the boy as the song goes on and tge it says "I would lie to you"
so he has cheated on her lied to her but he still loves her and can't live without her "forever won't be the same still I forgive you the pain take these broken wings fly from tge heart you stole" here he is saying I know cheated and the forever we were suppose to spend together won't be the same Now that you left me but then he is talking the homewrecker and saying I forgive you for what you have done because it was as much of your fault as mine but you have broken me because my girlfriend has my heart that you succesfully stoke from her but I don't want it anymore because of the trouble it has caused so I will ripp it out and give it to you with "my broken wings" is symbolic for Gus freedom he doesn't want to be free anymore he doesn't want to love again
then the "watch them fall (it's a disaster) to their knees (forever after) as I lay here I am flat lining" well it is the relationship is doomed now and he is on his knees begging for forgiveness nut he doesn't get it so there will be no happily ever after and tge flat-lining I don't know but it is like the thing that happens when a persons heart stops beating and you get a flat line instead of spikes so it is either these events make him want to die / he has killed himself or he no longer wants nor gas his heart because of the events that have happened
