Well, I believe it's about a girl who's been the "strong independent" type for so long that she's just been out doing her own thing but is starting to yearn for a simpler and more "homey" life. She's been out creating a show for so long, with the circus and cowboys... but now the cowgirl settles down alone- a cowgirl who's been out "wrangling men" and now she's ready to settle down but wonders if there's anyone left to settle down with now that she has a little garden of her own after 10 years out of Eden. I take these lines to mean that after 10 years of sleeping with men (10 years out of Eden or 10 years after being "exiled" from the view of being holy and pure by a "decent" man, all while everyone is going back to "Eden" or trying to get back to living a "good life," they pass her on the "train" as she's settling down alone), she's now looking back at the "garden" of her own of men she's slept with (perhaps a few one-night-stands after the first lines about the cowgirl talking to people that she doesn't know) and really just wants one flower clear of color- or a man who has no baggage- for herself. But due to her own garden she now wonders if it's even possible to find this man "clear of color."
