I love TDG for actually making emotional lyrics that stay blunt. I get sick of the subtle lyrics bands get overly showy with occasionally. I cannot say I have ever disliked a TDG song. They're just too honest.
I agree, TDG has been like this from the start. They're an amazing band. I really hope they don't ever change the way they are.
