Once I Knew a Pretty Girl Lyrics

I hate the cruel tradition: "That no young man should venture Where once he could not go" Such a pride pig to bury his love, and hers, too. And call us all along. However, Joan sings anything but proudly. The two ruined their lives whatever they say, and we hear it between the lines. So, nothing self-righteous, but pure woe. I think I replayed it like 30 times, my LP was "sandy" (kind of noise).
