Soul Free is a great song...but does anybody else think there might be a bit of a contradiction in the lyrics in that he wants to get his "soul free" ( and his partner to come with him )- but also wants "nothing to change" ?
Whatever the interpretation of "freeing our soul" might be - would it not also incorporate some change in himself ( possibly also his partner - if he goes with him as requested ) and their relationship in general ?
