I mean, starbucks opened in the 1970's, but i'm not sure how common they were in '81. Also the items he lists can't be bought at starbucks anyway. shot down my own theory. This record in general is really great. There's a gap in my Replacements collection between stink and tim. I'm sure someday i'll get the music that goes in between there.
