but, in "jailhouse" when they talk about the 89 vision, its about their vision and where they wanna be years down the road.

He was the Teacha (KRS - Knowledge Reigns Supreme) and he wanted to stop the violence in the hip-hop community. A fan was killed in a fight at a hip-hop show (he wasnt performing) and soon after his friend was gunned down, and from then on had formed the Stop the Violence Movement in 1989, aka his '89 vision.
