Lyric discussion by Dylan Misner

Cover art for Lalita lyrics by Love Language, The

Not to be a prick but I think these lyrics are more accurate

We got one more to go And the last one was a mistake I'd pour you another But it think I heard the bottle brake On your bedroom floor We'll count the hours away Cause I see no sense in sleeping Only to wake up Much too late Oh and I mean It's not that I'm scared I've got to Wait for the end to call you

Lalita Don't you hate these kisses? I know that we're not in But we're in love with everyone that is We're talking Tiny conversations Like they're harmless But you know that ain't what you sell

We got one more to go And the last one nearly killed me I'm talking to the devil but I Think I heard an angel sing La la la la And this year has just begun So don't count your blessings yet Let's take a walk But I think we better watch our steps Oh and I read "Lay down beside me I'm in need of rest I'm looking for a hand to guide me Far away from the rest Are we moving too fast?"

Lalita Don't you hate these kisses? I know that we're not in But we're in love with everyone that is I'm making Tiny compositions And though they're charming I know they'll never bring you back again

My Opinion

I think it's "And though they're charmless"

Maybe it's "And though they're charmers"? Since it would be obvious that "charmless" compositions wouldn't bring her back again.

In any case, I definitely agree that whatever the word, it ends with an "s" sound.

Lyric Correction

Ignore me! It's definitely "charmless".
