I'm disappointed by the mild post-modernism feel of this song... "tell me what is wrong and right / I don't suppose that anybody knows / And maybe when we reach the end / We'll ask imaginary friends / Why no response"
It almost sounds like he's saying that he's not getting any answers about absolute truth and if there's no God responding then when we get to the end we'll have to ask imaginary friends... It's a strange interpretation given what I know about MuteMath, but it's the only thing I'm getting from it... a disappointing contrast to the subtle confidence of "Control" or "Chaos"
its disappointing to think the world is black and white. to think that it is so simple to be able to analyze every situation at any given point in time dumbs down the idea of an all-knowing God.. i don't think that its disappointing for someone to have doubts in their beliefs, if they can doubt them and then still find their way back to it isn't that just confirmation of their apparent strength for that person?
