OK I don't usually criticize Canadian rock, especially from the fact that I'm Canadian and I believe that Canada is home to one of the best modern punk, pop and rock bands I know.
So anyways, here it goes.
I listened to the 50 second sample of this song on their Myspace. Seconds into it, my eyes widened.
The question in my mind: what happened to the pop punk/alternative Faber Drive I knew?!
I was so disappointed. This song G-Get Up And Dance ripped off The New Cities. The sound change is as disappointing as The Stereos.
It's great that bands change their sound every time they plan a new album, but this change went too far, that it doesn't sound like Faber Drive anymore.
(Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You may not agree with me but this is what I think. lol)

oh, by the way, to make it clear, I like the old Faber Drive and The New Cities (awesome electronica pop-rock band).

Not the Stereos. Their lead singer uses auto-tune live. Can this guy sing at all?
