I have never - NEVER - heard a new song that was exactly what I need in music at that time.
I got it through Rock Band 2, thought it was decent, then d/l'ed it...
With each listen, it affected me more and more, and a littel differently each time.
I have a lot of music, but never has one song stood out so much, like other posters here, I fell in love with music again.
Once I went through the lyrics, my understanding of the song has taken new light. It affects me so personally, it's as though it was written for me. I don't just relate to it, I connect.
And not knowing much about X Japan before listening to this song, the history behind it is amazing, the feeling from the song is so goddamn real.
If you can try finding the Hide Memorial show X Japan did, (try torrents to find it), I never thought I could be moved as much as I was by it.
