I think this song is about something that started out casual but she started to like him more and he knew this but didn't want anything serious but contiued on with it which is 'even though i led you on'.
but he now sees that he did like her but is too late. he's trying to tell himself to forget it and move on and just put it down as a regret but he can't and is struggling. "I feed my body with things that I don't need, Until I sink to the bottom" seems like a reference to getting drunk to help try forget about it but its not really working. "I sleep with my hands across my chest, And I dream of you with someone else" is him thinking about her but all he thinks about is her being with someone else instead of him.
"Going missing" is cause she is starting to consume his thoughts and he can't get over the fact he had a chance and didn't take it and just needs to get away from everything. its not going to happen so he just wants to get over her asap and sees that just doing his own thing for a while might help him do that.
