one of the GBV DVD's has footage of them recording this song and Pollard gets really pissed off at himself for not being able to hit the high note. he tries for like hours and cant get it, looks like he could cry.

I have always placed this song in my top ten of GBV songs. (which is not an easy task, considering my love for all of Bob's and Tobin's songs) It was awesome to see the video you mentioned because it always seemed to me that he was right on the edge of hitting the note. You could see the athlete in him coming through. He wasn't gonna stop until he got it the way he wanted it. I wonder why he didn't do that for the opening...
