first time I listened to this song I felt it was pretty clear to me that he was talking to God.
one of the reasons I got that was that part when he says "never thought this would be so political"
since I was born in this really "into studying the bible"-type of family I remember that some of the conclusions I got from it all was that, you know, Satan vs Yaveh ,they kinda try to prove the other one wrong, they try to get militants and in the end whoever fills the requirements for the new society/order will get to survive the final match. but it won't be enough if you just try to stay "clean" or ..you know ,like most people (including me I guess) say.."I'm a good person, I don't steal, I don't kill other people, I go to church from time to time, I don't rape, I cry at weddings...I deserve heaven" ...Nope!; there's a lot of things you could be doing that even though you think they don't count as no no's they do and you'd be working for the other Party.
plus, there's a lot of shit you may NOT be doing that will put you on god's "i'm not saving this lil' fucker"'s list.
soo, kinda puzzles me nobody here thought of something similar.
of course I may be completely clueless, guess you'd have to ask Aaron himself.

About proving who is wrong, it is clear by now that satan was wrong, or why will be so messed up the world today, i know that you might dont have interest in religion by know, but the conclusion of all things its at hand, ..{sorry for my grammar}
