Personally I think this is the best song on the album, great tune, great lyrics, great vocals, amazing live. Now as for the meaning, it's basically asking if your friends will stick by you in a crisis or if they'll let you down when you need them. I think that pretty much sums it up but yeah, fantastic song off a brilliant second album.
