2) Don't be different, just to be different. Act like yourself under any circumstance. Don't be a poser, cause generally the non-posers hate them.
I am neither Metal nor Punk, I like a lot of Music styles including stuff like Linkin Park, Trust Company, etc. but also Anthrax, Killswitch Engage, etc. I'm a Greenday-fan, but still mourn about Dimebag Darrel too. I fit into neither of those groups, I've been kicked out of bands because I didn't adjust to their 'image', I've been beat-up by others who thought of me as a poser.
Even if it seems hard, be yourself. You'll feel better and the people close to you will appreciate you for being genuine and pure.
