I think it's sort of closed-minded being when you bash on Hey Monday, comparing them to Paramore.
They are both excellent bands and they have their differences.
I think having a female fronted singer catches your attentions into believing that they are "wannabes".
Think about it.. if they had a male fronted singer, you'd be comparing them to ATL or The Maine, etc.
I can think of many popular bands that sound alike, hell.. I can even make a list of bands that sound alike if I wanted to.
I'm sure it wasn't their intentions on trying to be like Paramore.
They're probably trying to create their own style and bashing on them won't help.
So don't hate them because you think that they're trying to steal Paramore's spot.
