This song means many different things to me (only personally) it says many different things to many different people.
I agree with the God aspect. And part of this song (for me) has to do with that- But then the other has to do with other people and even things in my life.
Me for example would be one of them, my ex would be another. Even though she is my ex who she is in the memories is my hero, today.
