This is what I believe this song to mean (I'll quote then give a explanation)
Focus on the horizon, men
should you grow seasick
(we need to focus on God, even as we stray away from God or face troubles)
but don't expect silhouettes
of rescuer ships coming
coming, they arent coming for us
(Even though the Church is supposed to help in tribulations, I think this whole reference is speaking of the Church, and because a lot of churches are becoming corrupt and not focusing on God, we need to be aware that the church may not support us like it is supposed to do)
we've got prices on our heads
and millstones around our necks
we try to live forgiven but they won't let us forget
the bodies we're still in
the bodies that we still war against
(Jesus says that when we cause some one to stumble that it is better to put a millstone around our neck and throw ourselves into the sea, because it is better than what will happen when we are judged, again I believe this is referring to the church because it is plural "we've got prices on our heads and millstones around our necks" the church often times is not a biblical church and is causing people to stumble, referring back to the quote of rescuer ships, some times these "rescuer ships" cause us to stumble) And it is saying that we're reminded daily by our sins (this millstone) that we are still human
son, this is it, this is it
you're gonna sink for your sins
unless grace be the wind
son, this is it, this is it
we're all sinking for our sins
unless grace be the wind
(Unless GOD(Grace) is the one driving our ships, we are going to hell. (again this is referring to the quote Jesus makes about the millstones)
forget about being honest
forget about being passionate
wear that smile like you feel it
even when you don't
forget about being honest
forget about being passionate
i think they forgot about Jesus
seeking us out
(referring back to the church, a lot of people in churches spread rumors, they lie amongst eachother, and they pretend that they love God, even when they are living in sin, and they forgot about Jesus and are seeking "us" out. Which i believe he is saying the church has started focusing on themselves rather than God, and also maybe referring to the fact that they are trying to point out people they believe are sinning, and causing them to stumble
References in scriptures:
John 13:34 (the church needs to love one another)
Luke 17:1,2 (millstone)
Matthew 6:33 (seeking God first above ourselves)
