The reason why i say it can't be that, because i read an article or interview where he was asked what lullabies is about, when all he said it's about a girl who left him without anything, whilst he said years ago on their first full length self titled, it was about his brother. It's likely to be about someone close to him, also if you look at the lyrics. You're lucky if your memory remains, sounds very likely about somebody who might be remembered for something. So i would think Alex just had to say something and sort of changed the meaning to it, when it really could be about something else. I just say that, because he gave a lame answer like that on lullabies in an interview i read.
