very good song. i personally love it because i am not religious myself and their songs can be taken the God way or the relationship person/person kind of way.
that is the way i take this song, he is mad at the world and wants somebody to come and save him, as rettemich said.
i know they are christian and are talking about God, but i love skillet because they write their songs so you can take them so many different ways.

(sorta like the skillet song "Monster" which i love ;^) anyway i know this is pretty long but thanks for reading it anyway. if you want to say something back that would be cool.
now dont get me worng I like skillet but I hate that about them. Ither your a christian band or not there is no gray line I wish skillet would make there message clear I have had alot of probloms because of it, I have become one congused 16 year old. I dont know what to think of them any more. theres so many ways you can take it and my youth group band wont sing any of there songs because of it. it really stinks, they sound great but they need to work on there lyrics.

I am going to add something to MusiChick's post. if you are a Christian, you are not religious. religion means earning the right to go to heaven. that's not the truth. God'd Son Jesus died so that we wouldn't have to pay the price and try to earn our way into heaven. just saying.

@swallowthehurt Man all these Christians getting butthurt over a song that can be taken any number of ways. I believe we're here one moment and then gone the next. That's it, that's all there is. But there are people out there who choose to live a life helping others (a medic, a firefighter, a soldier), and as one of those people I didn't choose it because of some calling. I do it because it's the right thing to do and I'm an adrenaline junkie. If you can't understand how a person can be good without subscribing to the same things...
