I think it's about making the same mistake over and over again with that person. It is too frustrating to be with but also without that person. I can just sense the agony in this song... Anger in Howard's voice...

After purchasing this album, i have to agree it is definitely one of the best songs. as far as I can see it, this is the most likely choice to be released as the next single. Upon listening to this song over, and over. I would have to agree with the above poster as to the song meaning. However, after really looking at the liner, and reading the lyrics along with the song, and remembering what is they do for a living.

I have to actually say that this song is merely an introspection as to the rigors of the road. the band has been promoting 5 separate studio albums, and various other items for the better part of 10 years. With pretty much no break in the action. Lots of emotions to get rid of there.
