I love this song, and I'm not sure if my interpretation is exactly true because I haven't heard it with the show, so i don't know whats going on in the story when this plays. To me the singer sounds like she is singing about feeling unworthy and receiving either responsibility or affections that she doesnt feel like she deserves, or doesnt want to deserve (maybe it's too difficult to uphold, even if she is technically qualified). for me it hits home as far as love goes, but I think that refers even closer to a responsibility the singer has and has trouble feeling worthy of it.
