well, i think it really depends on what she means by paraffin and its significance. I doubt she means it literally. it probably is symbolic/an analogy for something else.

I think the paraffin part is even more »risqué» than your interpretation: I read it as she, literally or not, let him taste her (and taste should not be read as "kiss").
