I find this line interesting. Rather in keeping maybe with a sub-theme of fighting on Hombre Lobo as found in Prizefighter and Ordinary Man?

Just the phrase "toe-to-toe". "Toe-to-toe"'s most common surface meaning (I think) as a direct confrontation between opposing groups. :D

Kinda funny in the context of the rest of the song, which is so very sweet.

@42 steps I'd argue the toe-to-toe shouldn't be taken out of context from the previous statement, hand-in-hand. If you imagine two people hand-in-hand and toe-to-toe, what do you get? Dancing!
