Last time they were warning The Boy (Dear Hunter) about the dangers of leaving the land of the river and the lake, because he was going to lose himself to Ms. Leading (if you flee from grace your souls cannot be saved). Now, The Boy is on his way to a war and they're warning him again about the dangers of it. They warned him on the train about it too in the line: "when the bombs go off, you'll know right where you are".
