I remember when I was around 18 years old and there was this really cute girl that I liked. I guess she only wanted to be friends with me though and she started dating one of my friends. I was so p!ssed off at that and she could tell. She really tried to be friends with me in spite of how I felt. After awhile I stopped talking to her completely and after that I ended up egging her house. She knew it was me and was still willing to be friends with me for the sake of all our friends. I knew that was the only reason and I wish it could have been the same between us because I really liked her and she was so nice and sweet(she grew up Christian). In the end, I lost contact with everyone in that group of friends and disconnected my phone service. This song reminds me of her and how I was the problem in the relationship with my insecurity issues. I wish I could have known what I knew now and been a better person. All this time has past (two years) and I can't believe how stupid I used to be. Some things can only be learned through first hand experience and that was one of those things to me. I'm not suicidally depressed but I am ashamed and I love that line "I can't let this kill me, let go..."
