i think the "she was a princess and he was a bastard" line is the pivotal line in this song. i believe its referring to his mother and his father....or some relation of his, im not too sure of the familiar background, but he mentions something in anotherr song about being the only son of a bastard who knows the bastard, too, so, thats why i assume its his mother and father.
....anyways, in a wierd way, this song makes me really kind of love and loathe the woman he is writing about. in my opinion, a lot of people are in relationships where, from my outside opinion, there is someone undeserving of the other. this song illustrates that perfectly. i hope she got out and someone who deserved her met her.
