oh and in response to rachelrenee or whatever, a "real fan" is allowed to criticize and dislike stuff, too. you dont have to mindlessly follow and adore every single thing a band puts out in order to be considered a "real fan." im not saying that youre not sincere in your claim that youve loved all of it, im just saying that disliking a song or two doesnt change considering someone to be a fan.
Alright, you can dislike stuff. And you can say to yourself "I'm not really a fan of this song, it's not what I used to hear from them, and it's not the kind of music that I like to listen too. That's fine. But deciding that they've sold out, and they aren't the same people (not saying you did that, I just know some people are saying that) isn't a correct asumption, off of a few songs that you might not like the sound of. But a real fan does support the band. In all it's musical endevors. It's like a...

But a real fan does support the band. In all it's musical endevors. It's like a parent, you might not like your kid becoming a professional boxer in the future, but you support their dreams anyway. Same with a band. If your really a fan of the band, then even if, at the moment, they are making stuff you dislike, you still support them. Give them a fair chance to change your mind. Old All Time Low was great. I honestly love it as much as the stuff they make now, but it's not coming back. Alex even said that deep toned voice, that he used to sing with, was him singing incorrectly, and that he was losing his voice all the time. He's not going back to The Party Scene days. So if that's what some of you fans are hoping for, it's not going to happen. You either embrace what the band is offering now, or move on to a band that you can enjoy, because a band that your constantly critisizing, isn't a band that you enjoying.
by talking about the clothes they wear, xxRACHELRENEExx, you're automatically connecting being a fan to what they do OUTSIDE of the music! riddle me this: do you have to like them as people to be a true fan?

i just don't understand that logic. it's about the MUSIC.
