I have heard several times that it is really hard to share your religion with someone else. How it's easy to talk about in a church setting but when your out side of it, it becomes hard to tell even your closest friend. BUT, if not telling your friends what you feel REALLY meant damnation...... why would it be so hard??? Could be that these people (religous ones) arent even sure what they believe themselves and so are unsure of how to comunicate their thoughts? Or is it because religion is so sensitive that a freindship is more important to them than loosing it over something that NO ONE is sure about?

satellites are off the earth's surface, right? Kind of like people who think they are above earthly things... closer to heaven. But satellites are tied to the Earth... they were put there by "Earthlings" & they actually detach themselves from the earth (well maybe they can, but they are just garbabe floating in space... maybe the metaphor shouldn't go that far)

that to me means if something happens and theres no humans any more and over time every thing we had eroded. or if there was some planetary disaster that destroyed everything but left the earth intact all that would be left of our existance is satellites.

coming from an athesis point of view i see it that in the catholic religion you can live your life however the hell you want and when you do something bad just ask for forgiveness so why should you even try to do good when its fine if you don't. so what you do to others doesn't matter cause no matter what you will fuck up...
